MIDDLEBURY-SOUTHBURY — The Pomperaug girls’ soccer team had its highest scoring game of the season last Saturday, defeating Kolbe Cathedral, 7-0. The Panthers also defeated Notre Dame and lost a contest to Immaculate in games last week.

Sydney Lounsbury topped the scoring last Saturday with two goals and an assist against Kolbe. Samantha Kipperman added one goal and one assist and Leah Bingham added three assists.

Other goal scorers were Madison Mooney, Kate Johnson, Naomi Steitzel and Anna Gallino.

Sydney Weiss was in goal and made three saves.

The Panthers topped Notre Dame 3-1 and lost to Immaculate 1-0.

In the win over Notre Dame, Johnson, Camryn Ward and Emma Broadwater all had one goal. Assists were credited to Lounsbury, Steitzel and Camryn Ward.

Samantha Grayson made two saves in the Panther goal.
