WASHINGTON — The coaches of the Berkshire League boys’ basketball teams recently met and selected the 2019-2020 All-Star team.

Seven different teams had one representative on the first team.

Shepaug guard Owen Hibbard and Nonnewaug forward Jon Khazzaka, both juniors, were the two players from the area who made the first unit.

Other first-team players were Ethan Collins of Wamogo; Hunter Smith from Gilbert; the league’s high scorer, Levi Delaney of Northwestern; Dylan Matulis of Terryville and Thomaston’s Chad Suckley.

Shepaug guard Jordan Cornwall and center Michael Perachi were both named to the second squad, along with Tyler Lindberg from Nonnewaug.

Charlie Coffey of Wamogo was the lone sophomore on the team. Other second team players were Keegan Daigle of Thomaston, Evan Fischthal from Litchfield, and Carlos Sarmiento of Gilbert. 

The were seven seniors, six juniors and one sophomore selected.
