BETHLEHEM-WOODBURY — The Nonnewaug boys’ soccer team picked up two victories last week, beating Gilbert 3-1 and Housatonic 1-0 to raise its league leading record to 12-1-1.

The Chiefs are in first place in the Berkshire League standings, just one game in front of second place Litchfield (11-2-1).

Nonnewaug has two games remaining on the schedule. The Chiefs wrap up their regular season with an away game at Terryville today, Wednesday, November 6.

In the Gilbert game, Jackson Baker, Aiden Colby and Pedro Prates all tallied one goal to lead the offense. Josh Cheatham and Zach Thompson chipped in one assists each. Jim Parker made two saves in goal.

In the Housy game, Thompson scored both goals to lead the team.
