MONROE — The Parks and Recreation Department is seeking sponsorships as it offers more programming.

Open swim is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings at the Masuk High School pool, 1014 Monroe Tpke.

Pool parties may be scheduled between 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. Fridays and 2 to 3:45 p.m. Saturdays for up to 50 people per group.

The pool will be closed November 9, 27, 28, and 29.

The information and cancellation line at 203-339-6106 will provide schedule updates as these change due to school closing and pool usage.

Pool memberships are sold at the pool during open swim and payable by cash or check only.

Adult Swim Lessons are offered on Monday nights at Masuk High School pool, where swim instructors will help adults develop valuable skills and a lifetime love of the water, while instilling responsibility and safety instruction.

Classes will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. from November 18 to December 16.

Youth Swim Lessons for 4-year olds offers a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate swimming and water safety program from the American Red Cross that teaches children how to swim skillfully and safely, and think and act safely in, on and around the water.

Session 2 will take place Monday evenings from November 18 to December 16 at the Masuk High School pool. 

The registration deadline in November 11.
