Supports Jones for Region 14 Board

Alice has been a very active member of Region 14 since the early 1980s. Over the past four decades she

has lived in both Woodbury and Bethlehem, raised a family that attended the region’s schools, coached her sons’ basketball team, served on various committees and volunteered at the Bethlehem Fair.

Her professional contributions to Region 14 have been impressive. Alice has both taught and served as the principal at Woodbury Middle School and then went on to be the principal of Nonnewaug High School.

She currently resides in Bethlehem where she plays an active role in the lives of her grandchildren who attend the region’s schools.

Throughout the years, Alice has demonstrated her ability to be level-headed when it comes to implementing policies and navigating challenging situations. Alice is not one to be deterred by politics or manipulation. She is comfortable engaging with both parents as well as administration.

At this stage in her life, she is able to contribute the time necessary to serve on the board. l am confident that, if given this opportunity, she will put our students’ education needs first.

I encourage the residents of Region 14 to elect Alice Jones on June 1.
