To the Editor:

The year 2020 marked the 11th year that Keep Oxford Green has participated in the Toys for Tots drive in Oxford. It is my understanding that originally the enterprise began with Sgt. Dan Semosky, Officer Dave Hare, Denise Randall and Anna Rycenga. The project has steadily grown and now has the help of Resident Trooper Sgt. Robert Boroski.

The intent is to gather new unused toys for children of various ages and distribute to families in the area that are in need. Friends of KOG have always been generous; 2020 was no exception. Officer Robert Desmarais collected the toys, filling his cruiser and quickly appointed the life size bear, donated by Alan and Cristina Goldstone, as his assistant and confidant.

We want to thank all of those that have helped this event, including donations from KOG participants, Denise, Anna and Officer Robert.

In addition, we would like to thank the Oxford Police Department for organizing this holiday cheer, protecting and serving the Oxford community.
