To the Editor:

I love libraries, especially because of their computers and the internet. Also, I prefer to get in the car and drive to the library on a daily basis, rather than having a distraction of the internet in my home.

I am ever so grateful to the libraries in Woodbury and Southbury with such nice people as Ron, Heidi, Lisa, Rebecca and Chris, who have been very helpful. Both the Woodbury and Southbury computers have been open for virtually all of the 11-month period during which the Middlebury computers have been shut down due to the coronavirus.

It is always amazing how towns in Connecticut, such as Woodbury and Southbury, stand by to help residents of other towns when an issue arises, such as the coronavirus, at a time when the Middlebury Library is unable to provide computer and internet service.
