To the Editor:

The Republican Committee would like to thank all Republicans who voted in this year’s election. The turnout and support was instrumental in re-electing our state and local candidates.

The national election saw gains for the Republican party among African-American, Hispanic Americans and women. Though the final results for president are not official, the turnout of support for President Trump was strong in our little town. This enthusiasm and interest in politics is encouraging.

As a town committee we encourage you to check us out and inquire about many committee and board openings. Year 2021 is a municipal election year and we need your support and interest. Although, 2020 was a difficult year with the pandemic causing us to cancel some of our successful fundraisers, this coming year we expect to increase events as we support our local candidates.

The Bethlehem Town Committee meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m. Meetings are held either via Zoom or at the Town Hall. You can also follow us on Facebook by liking the Bethlehem Republican Town Committee page.

In closing, reach out, get involved and thank you for supporting the Republican Party.
