From Oxford: Sisters Attend Naval Academy

Two Oxford High School graduates, Savada (right) and Audrey Robinson (left), are the first two students from the town to attend a service academy after high school. Savada, OHS class of 2016, is currently a junior, or 2/C, at the Naval Academy. Her younger sister, Audrey, class of 2018, is a freshman, or plebe. This summer, Savada traveled to California for a mandatory summer training, Protramid, where she spent a week with each of the service communities she may choose to join before she graduates. Meanwhile, Audrey was successfully completing the mandatory six-week plebe summer training.

The two student-athletes, who see each other almost every day, either in passing or at a Christian fellowship group, are immensely grateful for their hometown community for preparing them for this endeavor.
