The Pomperaug District Department of Health is well underway with its Covid-19 vaccine clinics. PDDH is comprised of the towns of Oxford, Southbury and Newtown. Medical Reserve Corps volunteers Barb La Montague and Chris Trupp and Medical Reserve Corps Manager Robin Lucas ran the Thursday, January 14, clinic at PDDH’s office in Playhouse Corner in Southbury. Pomperaug Health Director Neal Lustig told Voices there will be more clinics, including at Pomperaug High School, for residents who are part of Phase 1b vaccinations, which were to begin on Monday, January 18.
