The Bethlehem Fair returned this season for its 96th edition with beautiful weather, all of its usual attractions, and then some, drawing a strong turnout over this past weekend of September 10, 11 and 12. Above, the Jim Grover-owned draft horse team of Speck and Mack, hailing from Lebanon and driven by Wally Stevens, won the heavyweight horse pull on Sunday afternoon, taking a load of 9,900 pounds a distance of 10 feet, six inches. More pictures from the fair will appear in an upcoming edition of Voices. (O’Brien photo)
