Patrick Harris

SOUTHBURY — A beloved partner, father and friend, Patrick Harris passed away Monday, June 15, 2020, at the age of 71.

Patrick was raised in Olmsted Falls, Ohio, by Leo and Freda (Fulton) Harris. His service as a navigator in the Air Force and then as a commercial airline captain allowed him to explore the globe, but he always made sure there was time for his family and friends.

His generous spirit allowed him to always see the good in everyone. His friends and family are so thankful for the bone marrow donor that gave them 15 more years of laughter together.

Patrick spent eight beautiful years alongside his adoring partner, Jane Zaborski; her amazing children, Bern, Danielle and Peter, and all their wonderful spouses and children. He loved his brother, Sam, and celebrated as he became a great-grandfather. He was blessed to see his three sons, Dan, Greg and Will, graduate from college and forge paths of their own.

Patrick’s friends and family urge others to consider signing up with the National Bone Marrow Registry at to give others the gift of time that they were blessed with.

“Captain Harris, you are clear for takeoff!”

Services for Patrick will take place at a later date.
