Louise Ann (Swanson) Miller

ROXBURY — Louise Ann (Swanson) Miller, better known as Susie to family and friends, age 82, of Roxbury, passed away on April 30, 2021, at home after a valiant battle with cancer, with her husband, Charles Miller, by her side, along with her pet, Quinn the cat, who she adored and always called Kitty.

She will be missed terribly but is free from pain and is at peace.

She worked as an administrative assistant for many years at Graphic Sciences in Danbury and Boehringer Manheim in Brookfield.

In her earlier years, she lived in Alaska and Vermont. She was a creative and talented artist and enjoyed crafts and art and drawing amusing characters of animals. She was small in stature and multi-talented, always making improvements around her home.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, one sister, Judy C. Williams of Missouri, and several nieces and nephews.

A remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 5, at Weller Cemetery, Hemlock Road, Roxbury, with the Rev. David Peters officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a charitable contribution to World Central Kitchen would be appreciated.
