The club, which is participating in the Rotary Million Mask Challenge New England tour, has been distributing masks to local first responders and other essential workers as well as senior communities and facilities.

The outreach to the senior communities is headed by Jennifer Naylor, club director of senior services, and her committee, comprised of three Heritage Village residents, Harmon L. Andrews, Vincent L. Ganci and Terry Clark-Murphy, as well as Suzanne Clerkin and John Monteleone.

The masks were made available through a donation from the Rossi Family Foundation and Ted Rossi, a member of the East Hampton Rotary Club.
