SOUTHBURY — First Selectman Jeff Manville submitted his registration with the town clerk to run for a third term, accompanied by his campaign treasurer Col. (ret.) M. Scott Furr and Deputy Campaign Treasurer Jessica Godfrey.

Mr. Manville, a life-long resident of Southbury, has served for the last 40 years on various volunteer committees and organizations.

Col. Furr currently volunteers as the deputy emergency manager for the town and is a managing partner for S2 Resilience Group, LLC. He retired from the military with more than 30 years of service.

Ms. Godfrey, the deputy treasurer for the Manville for Southbury campaign, currently works as an office manager for Action Construction.

Registered Republicans may vote at the caucus at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, at the Senior Center/Parks and Recreation building, 561 Main St. South.
