WATERBURY — The Waterbury Regional Chamber, in partnership with the Northwest Regional Workforce Investment Board, will host a free virtual job fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 28, using a new online platform provided by Premier Virtual.
The platform has been used for virtual job fairs in other states; the Waterbury Regional Chamber is the first to use it in Connecticut.
Any business or organization looking to hire fewer than 20 workers may register for the event and set up a virtual booth that can be customized with a business logo, social media links and background.
Businesses and organizations also can post information about each available job and will have the ability to chat with jobseekers who visit their booths.
After the event is over, businesses and organizations also can download information about all of the applicants who visited their booths.
A link to register and set up a booth, as well as a link to an instructional video, will be provided to each business that registers for the event at www.waterburychamber.com.
Jobseekers who register can post photos of themselves and pdf versions of their resumes and may visit any or all of the booths of participating businesses and organizations.

We encourage both employers and potential employees to utilize this platform as we continue to recover from this world-wide pandemic.”
