LITCHFIELD — White Memorial Conservation Center will present Radical Raptors at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 9, via Zoom.

Education Director Carrie Szwed will discuss the birds of prey seen perched atop fence-posts by day or heard calling outside a window by night.

This interactive presentation will cover the hawks, owls, eagles and falcons that call Northwest Connecticut home.

Viewers will have a chance to meet two common raptors, the barred owl and red-tailed hawk, up close.

This free Zoom program will be simulcast via Facebook Live.

Pre-register is at whitememorialcc.org.
