New Year’s Eve Celebration Set at Sacred Heart

SOUTHBURY — Sacred Heart Church has rescheduled the Celebration of Light to New Year’s Eve from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Due to stormy weather, Sacred Heart canceled the Christmas Eve event and will offer luminaries and a message of hope from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. December 31.

All are welcome to take a moment of reflection, prayer or celebration as they view the message of the luminarias that will light up the corner of Main Street South and Route 172 and the Sacred Heart campus.

Those attending may tour the Nativity scene, Stations of the Creche and enjoy the glow of light as everyone enters 2021 together in hope. All can be seen by car and on foot. Wearing masks and social distancing required. Weather permitting.
