SOUTHBURY — The Southbury Senior Center will offer its third annual Community Showcase from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, November 14, at the Southbury Senior Center, 561 Main St. South.

Local businesses are invited to participate in the fair intended to connect seniors with local businesses of all types offering information, demos and some holiday shopping.

“Southbury has the highest population per capita of seniors in the state,” said Tamath K. Rossi, director of senior services.

“Seniors often are not aware of the variety of businesses located in Southbury and some local businesses are unaware of how large the senior customer base is in Southbury.

“While there will be some health-based businesses participating, this will not be a health fair, but a unique showcase of local businesses of all types.”.

Space for the fair is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Spaces are offered at no charge. Vendors are asked to donate an item valued at a minimum of $25 for a raffle at the showcase.

Those interested in participating or for more information may call Southbury Senior Center Coordinator Katrina Anderson at 203-262-0651, or email senior2@southbury-ct.gov.
