Pomperaug Woods, an independent living community for seniors in Southbury, celebrated the opening of its new memory care neighborhood with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, March 29. The community offers a continuum of care in a Life Plan Community to allow one to age in place. Memory Care is the newest addition to their existing offerings of independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing care.

Participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony are, from left, Director of Marketing and Sales Leigh Schultz, Board President Lainie Jedlinsky, Residency and Community Outreach Counselor Jennifer Naylor, Southbury First Selectman Jeff Manville, Waterbury Regional Chamber President and CEO Lynn Ward, and Residency Counselor Amy Ferrarie.
