RIBBON CUTTING AT OLD NAVY

The Southbury Plaza celebrated the opening of its new Old Navy store on Saturday, November 23, with a ribbon cutting, refreshments, music, discount coupons and face painting. On hand to cut the ribbon at 9 a.m. were (from left) Tishea Tallman, the store’s general manager; Southbury First Selectman Jeffrey Manville and Old Navy Connecticut District Manager Jay Ben-Kiki. Ms. Tallman addressed the crowd, saying how friendly the community had been as they worked to open the store and how happy they were to be in Southbury.
