Oxford Public Library to Host Three-Part Career Development Series

OXFORD — The Oxford Public Library, 49 Great Oak Rd., will host Rich Gee, founder and owner of the Rich Gee Group, in a three-part fall series focused on career development. All programs are virtual. The program is made possible by the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the American Rescue Plan Act, as part of the $3,000 grant Oxford Library received, administered by the Connecticut State Library

“Redesign Your Resume for Results,” the subject at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 23, concentrates on using the Job and Career Accelerator and other resources to create a resume. 

The next program, “Interview Skills to Land Your Next Position,” at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 14, discusses improving interviewing skills. Mr. Gee will walk participants through the steps to make an interview memorable and powerful.

“Build Your Confidence” is the subject at 6 p.m. Thursday, November 4. Finding a job is hard. The program will review secrets to build confidence.
