Better Days Rescue Fund will host a tag sale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 22, rain or shine at 107 Lum Lot Rd., off Bucks Hill Road in Southbury, to benefit Eli, a cat who was rescued after being hit by a car. Eli underwent surgery to pin his pelvis and leg back together. Better Days Rescue has taken him into their sanctuary to provide the care he needs, including additional surgery. Despite Eli’s fear of people, he is a fun-loving goofball who loves to play and seems grateful for his second chance.

The tag sale will include sporting equipment, cameras, records, hand tools and small power tools, crafts, household items and small appliances, jewelry and more. All proceeds will go to help Eli and the other special needs cats in Better Days’ care. Those who would like to donate directly may send checks to P.O. Box 116, Roxbury 06783. More information can be found at betterdaysrescuefund.org or via email to betterdaysrescue@gmail.com.
