SOUTHBURY — Choice Pet, a Connecticut-based pet specialty retailer, hosted a Grand Opening of its Southbury location on Monday, February 8, in the former PetValu site at 100 Main St. North in Southbury Plaza.
To celebrate the opening of its 16th location and to mark 42 years in business in Connecticut, Choice Pet is offering discounts at the Southbury store from Thursday, February 18, through Sunday, February 21.
Choice Pet was founded in 1979 with a central promise to offer quality, inspiration and choice to pet lovers in the northeast. The knowledgeable staff offers a carefully curated selection of natural, organic, holistic and premium products.
The Southbury location has been refreshed and updated while maintaining the services the Southbury community has come to rely on.
Choice Pet will continue to offer self-serve baths; now, a percentage of all sales from the baths will be donated directly to local animal rescue and welfare organizations that directly impact the local community.
Lawrence Bocchiere, director of operations for Choice Pet, said, “We are excited to mark our long-term presence in the Southbury community with a weekend of celebration and we can’t wait to introduce the residents of Southbury to Choice Pet.
“We are always looking for ways to make the experience of having a pet more fulfilling and more convenient by offering our wide selection in our neighborhood locations, as well as the opportunity for curbside pick-up and to shop local online and have items delivered right to your home.”
