St. Mary’s Offers Drive-up Testing

WATERBURY — St. Mary’s Hospital has opened a drive-through mobile center to test patients for Covid-19. The state Department of Public Health approved St. Mary’s Hospital’s mobile clinic to go live on Tuesday, March 17. The center will operate from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., seven days a week, and can be accessed in the lower level of the Visitor’s Garage on Cole Street. Those seeking a screening must have a physician’s order and proper identification to utilize the drive-up clinic.

Physician’s order can be a paper copy or submitted electronically by the physician.

Upon entering the drive-up clinic, patients will call the pre-registration number posted at the site and be connected to a clinical staff member who will complete the registration.

The screening process will be conducted by trained and protected clinicians.
