WOODBURY — The Woodbury Public Library will host DeAnne Gauya presenting, An Introduction to Life Surfing: Surf the Waves of Your Life With Less Stress and More Joy, at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at 269 Main St. South.

The talk will focus on how to return joy to life and how to develop a healthier lifestyle.

Ms. Gauya is the author of a chapter in the book “The Beauty of Authenticity.” 

Her chapter, titled “The Life Surfer” will be part of the topic discussed.

Ms. Gauya has a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology, as well as a master’s degree in nutrition education and applied physiology.

She is also an ACE-certified personal fitness trainer and group exercise instructor, a board certified and state licensed massage therapist, and a E-RYT Yoga instructor.

Books will be available for purchase. The program is free and open to area residents.
