SOUTHBURY — The Southbury Public Library Youth Services Department will welcome back registered dietitian Katie Shepard from Food Explorers for a virtual session at 5 p.m. Friday, January 15.

Participants will learn how to make cinnamon rolls.

The yeast-free recipe will offer quick cinnamon rolls. Participants will learn how to make the dough, roll it and slice the rolls. The required ingredients are self-rising flour (five cups for full recipe), white sugar, cinnamon, milk (2-1/2 cups), butter (one stick), powdered sugar and optional vanilla. The recipe can be cut in half to make eight rolls.

Participants will need a rolling pin. The class is recommended for ages 7 and older. Registration is required.
