Woodbury: Concert to Feature Parnassus String Quartet

The Friends of Woodbury Senior Community Center Inc. will host a free community concert featuring Yale School of Music’s Parnassus String Quartet at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 10 at the town Senior Community Center. WOODBURY — The Friends of Woodbury Senior Community Center Inc. will host a free community concert featuring Yale School of Music’s Parnassus String Quartet at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 10 at the town Senior Community Center. Current members of the Parnassus String Quartet represent the United States, Italy and South Korea. Each quartet member has performed on stages across the U.S. and abroad, including those at Carnegie Hall, Severance Hall, Woolsey Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Edinburgh Castle and the Kennedy Center.

This event is funded by a grant from the Woodbury-Bethlehem Community Music Foundation Inc. through Thomaston Savings Bank, the Woodbury Woman’s Club and music-loving patrons.
