DANBURY — Stanley L. Richter Association for the Arts will present the Cosmos Piano Duo at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 20, at Richter House, 100 Aunt Hack Rd.

Featuring Yuka Yanagi and Kai Pangune Kim, the Cosmos Piano Duo specializes in performing uplifting and familiar compositions such as rhapsodies and dances. They have performed at the Steinway Piano Gallery, Richter Arts Association, Fort Lee Public Library and various salon concerts.

Ms. Yanagi is an adjunct professor at County College of Morris and Montclair State University Extension Division. She has performed in Japan, Taiwan and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.

Ms. Kim’s solo engagements include the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in Sweden, the Wayne Symphony Orchestra, the Manhattan School of Music Symphony Orchestra and the Seoul Symphony Orchestra of New York. She has given solo recitals at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie, Texas A&M University and Seton Hall University.

She teaches at her own Kai’s Piano Studio in Glen Rock, N.J. and in Danbury.

Admission is free and refreshments will be served following the presentation. Donations will be accepted.

General parking is in the nearby golf course parking lot. Those attending may look for the shuttle service between the house and the parking lot or walk to the house.

Handicapped parking is available directly at the house.
