MIDDLEBURY — The 28th annual Oktoberfest will take place Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 at Quassy Amusement Park, 2132 Middlebury Rd.
Oktoberfest, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, will feature live music starting at 1 p.m., German food, beer and free pumpkin decorating for children.
Admission to the Oktoberfest Pavilion is free with $7 charged for parking at Quassy.
There are fees for food, beverages, rides and other park attractions.
Featured entertainment on Saturday, September 28, will be the Beer Hall Boys, a five-piece band from Chicopee, Mass.
The Sunday, September 29, performance will be by the four-piece Swedish Meatballs band from Brooklyn, N.Y.
Children may participate in pumpkin decorating at the pavilion both days, while supplies last.
The park’s rides and attractions operate during Oktoberfest starting at 11 a.m.
The waterpark and beach close September 8 for the season.
