MONROE — Town officials have asked residents to note a number of updates regarding town services.

Pre-purchase of dump tickets will no longer be necessary at the Trumbull Transfer Station. Residents may enter once per day and all payment will be via credit or debit card at the station. Any existing dump tickets already purchased will be honored.

The Garder Road Landfill will remain open as scheduled, however, they are currently only accepting leaves/grass, scrap metal and electronic recycling.

While the “Library to Go” service was popular and a service the town was proud to provide, in the spirit of the governor’s order, the decision was made to stop the program at this time. Multiple services remain available online. More information is at www.ewml.org.

More information on the current status of town facilities and services, as well as listing of restaurants open for take-out or delivery, is available at www.MonroeCT.org/COVID-19.
