Children in kindergarten through grade 5 may practice reading aloud to Lola, a trained and certified therapy dog, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, December 5, in the Children’s Department of the Woodbury Public Library, 269 Main St. South. Parents may choose a 10-minute time slot for their child and bring a book from home or use one from the library. Preregistration is required online at www.woodburylibraryct.org.
