THOMASTON’S CRESCENT GALLERY TO HOST ART SHOW

The Crescent Gallery, at 158 Main St., will host Putting Things in Perspective, an art show featuring a special exhibit of paintings by Ann Walsh. The exhibit will run from Thursday, September 5 through November 13. The artist’s reception will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, October 13. The Crescent Gallery will be open one hour before the Opera House production of “In the Heights” from 7 to 8 p.m. September 21, 27 and 28 and October 4 and 5, and from 1 to 2 p.m. September 22 and 29 and October 6. Those interested may also meet the artists and watch them work at the gallery from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays.
