Thomaston: Renditions Gallery Show Scheduled

“Wolf,” a pastel painting by Don Clark, will be one of the paintings on display at the Renditions Gallery Show, hosted by the Fine Arts Connection from Thursday, January 9 to Wednesday February 26 at the Crescent Gallery, 158 Main St.

THOMASTON — The Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston will present a Renditions Gallery Show featuring a special exhibit of paintings by Don Clark from Thursday, January 9 to Wednesday, February 26 at the Crescent Gallery, 158 Main St.

Don Clark’s renditions are drawn from photographs and his subject matter includes charming portraits of adults, children and pets. He also enjoys painting landscapes and wildlife and his style is targeted toward photo realism. 

Mr. Clark paints in acrylic and draws in pastels and charcoal.

The gallery will be open for one hour before show times of the Thomaston Opera House productions of One Hit Wonder. 

The times of the exhibits are from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 7 and 14; from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 8 and 15; and from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 9 and 16. 

Visitors are welcome to meet the artists and watch them work at the gallery’s open studio, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Thursday.
