MIDDLEBURY — The Middlebury Public Library, 30 Crest Rd., will offer several programs in July.

The sketching club will meet from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Mondays.

All are welcome and no experience is necessary.

The Cinema Series starts at 1 p.m. Wednesdays to explore a different theme each week.

A newly released movie for adults will be shown at 1 p.m. Fridays and those who attend are invited to bring their own snacks.

Tech Talk: Podcasts will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 and 16 to learn about different popular podcasts, how to find them, and how to listen to them. Registration is required.

The Brown Bag Book Group will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, to discuss “The Story of Arthur Truluv” by Elizabeth Berg. New members are welcome.

The Mystery Book Group will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 to discuss “Night Passage” by Robert B. Parker. New members are welcome.

Participants in the Tinkercad Informational Session at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11, will learn how to design 3D objects using Tinkercad for 3D printing or game design.

They may bring your laptop for hands on practice and registration is required.

There will be a NASA themed 3D printer demonstration at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 18.

There will be a discussion of the Community Read, “Hidden Figures,” by Margot Lee Shetterly at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 25.

Copies of the book are available for checkout at the library and readers of all ages are welcome.

During the months of July and August, participants will receive a chance to enter a raffle drawing for every two books read as part of Summer Reading 2019 - A Universe of Stories.

Teen movies will be shown at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays.

Supernova Bath Bombs will take place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, where students in grades 6 to 12 will make their own cosmic bath bombs.

DIY Telescopes will start at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 23; participants in grades 6 to 12 will decorate their own telescopes; registration is required.

Galaxy Suncatchers will be start at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 30. Students in grades 6 to 12 will create a one of a kind faux stained glass galaxy suncatcher; registration is required.

There will be a family movie at 11 a.m. Mondays and they are invited to bring their own snacks.

Wacky Workshop: Rescue Han Solo will start at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, for students in grades 4 to 6, to rescue Han Solo from carbonite; registration is required.

Fun with the Sun will take place at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 17 for ages 6 to 11. They will make their own fiery sun paper; registration is required.

Fun in Space with the KidsPlay Museum is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 for ages 6 to 11 and registration is required.

Students in grades 6 to 100 will make their own Glowing Space Dough at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31; registration is required.

Children entering preschool through kindergarten can register for 1-2-3 Blast Off with George.

Students entering first grade through fifth grade can register for Galaxy Readers.
