For 25th Anniversary Year: Minor Memorial Library to Host Studio Stars

ROXBURY — The Minor Memorial Library is celebrating its 25th anniversary year with a special exhibition of artwork by local artists titled, Studio Stars, from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the library, 23 South St.

The event is an invitational, non-juried exhibition and sale of artists and Community Studio alumni.

Artists have been invited to create 10-by-10-inch artworks that will be displayed anonymously and sold for $100 each to benefit the library.

Local artists such as Carrie Beckmann, Barry Blitt, Nancy Lasar, Katie Ré Scheidt, Jack Rosenberg, Phil Stone and Tom Yost are among the 74 artists participating in this exhibit, with more 150 individual pieces of art represented.

Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at or in person at the library.
