Flanders Nature Center: Winter Photography Contest Set

WOODBURY — Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust will host a winterscape photography contest from Wednesday, January 15 through Friday, February 28. The contest invites people and families to get outside, observe and try to capture in a photograph the beauty of the winter landscape and wildlife. There will be prizes for the best submissions based on composition, image quality, originality and the story the image tells.

Photographs do not need to be taken on Flanders property, but can be taken anywhere that provides the photographer inspiration.

Entries must be submitted in JPEG format.

Flanders staff and experienced photography associates will judge submitted images.

Images will be shared in a special gallery on the Flanders website after the winners have been announced.

The cost is $5 for one submission; $7 for two; $10 for three; $13 for four; and $15 for five.

All proceeds will benefit Flanders programming.
