To the Editor:

As a Watertown resident and voter, I am casting my vote for Krista Palomba for Board of Education.

Krista’s credentials as a dedicated public servant and involved parent have been well documented over the years. In the past year she organized and facilitated these wildly successful community events: Adopt an Officer Week, Operation Chemo Comfort Bag, the largest fundraiser for the Republican party, as well as for the Sun, Moon, Stars annual benefit. Her tireless involvement in the community shows that she is a woman of service and integrity, who truly wants the best for Watertown.

Why do you think so many people in our town attend her events and help her with civic endeavors? It comes down to one simple principle, she puts all others before herself. That is the type of leadership we need. Someone who will go above and beyond for our community and our children.

Her campaign efforts are greatly appreciated, as are the goals she has articulated for the Watertown school system. Krista’s dedication to professionalism and being a positive voice for Watertown won my support. I know she will serve the BOE with the same passion she exhibits in all her endeavors.

I believe she will be a true advocate for all students, and that she will help ensure that every child has the chance to maximize their potential. I urge my fellow Watertown and Oakville citizens to cast their vote for Republican candidate, Krista Palomba on November 2nd.
