WOODBURY — Area students in kindergarten through fifth grade who are off from school on Monday, September 30 are invited to attend a Survival Kids Camp Adventure at Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust.

Children will follow tracks to find wildlife, try knot tying, orienteering, compass reading and campfire cooking. Challenges, games and scavenger hunts are all part of this day of adventure.

Flanders is offering three different sessions that day. Parents may choose the morning session from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the afternoon session from 1 to 5 p.m. or a full-day session which goes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Pre-registration is required.

The cost per child for either the morning or afternoon session is $30 for members and $40 for nonmembers. Full-day cost is $60 for members and $80 for nonmembers. Early care from 7 a.m. is available at $8 per hour.

Parents are asked to have their children dress for the weather and to bring a bag lunch or snack.

Those wishing to register may call Flanders at 203-263-3711, ext. 12.

A full listing of programs for all ages can be found at www.flandersnaturecenter.org or on Flanders’ Facebook page.
