Tales of Suffrage Topic

THOMASTON — The 19th Amendment: A Tale of Suffrage, Sacrifice and Success, a free program, is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Monday, February 24 at the Thomaston Public Library, 248 Main St. Mariann Millard will provide an engaging presentation designed to help better understand and appreciate how difficult, and long, the fight was for women to achieve voting rights and become full-fledged American citizens. Ms. Millard’s appearance is sponsored by Friends of the Thomaston Public Library.
