Boy Scouts from Troop 52, Union Congregational Church, and Troop 140, St. Mary Magdalen Church, traveled the streets of Oakville and Watertown on Saturday, November 7, including, (from left) Dillan Vejseli, Jace Kiernan, Matteo Concepcion, Noah Welch, Sam Falotico, Alex Puttock, Kyle Sarracco and Marcus Concepcion, placing 7,000 Scouting for Food bags at residents’ doors to collect much-needed Items for the local food bank. The shopping bag list has the items most urgently needed.

The scouts return Saturday, November 14, to pick up items placed outside. The scouts will deliver the items to the food bank. Items should be left out by 9 a.m. Those who did not receive a Scouting for Food bag and would like to donate are asked to call Kevin Parkhurst 860-274-9778.
