WATERTOWN — Priscilla Mary (Adam) Membrino, 79, of Watertown, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Priscilla was born March 10, 1941, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Wallace and Mary (Wassong) Adam. She was raised in Thomaston and was a graduate of Thomaston High School. She was an administrative assistant at the Taft School for many years.
In her earlier years, she worked as a floral designer with her sister Patty and at Jim the Florist. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church.
Priscilla enjoyed traveling, especially to national parks, Sedona, Ariz., and other western locations. She liked hiking, gardening, jewelry-making and other crafts. She was an enthusiastic Elvis Presley fan and her last trip was to Graceland. She was devoted to her family and loved hosting the holiday gatherings at her home.
Priscilla is survived by her son, Francis D. Membrino, Jr., of Watertown; three daughters, Donna Membrino of Litchfield, Doreen Membrino Howarth of Oakville and Darlene Membrino and her partner, Denise Cloutier, of Goshen; her brother, Edward Adam and his wife, Audrey, of North Stonington; her sister, Patricia Izzo of Thomaston; three grandchildren, Shawn Howarth, Dawn Lestage and her husband, Michael, and Alyssa Turro; three great-grandchildren, Layla and Logan Lestage and Mikayla Wells; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Priscilla was predeceased by her former husband, Francis “Bucky” Membrino, and her brother, Vincent Adam.
Funeral services took place Monday, November 9, from Hickcox Funeral Home, 195 Main St., to St. John the Evangelist Church for Mass. Burial followed in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
