Mark A. Lorusso

WATERTOWN — Mark A. Lorusso, 63, formerly of Prospect, entered the gates of heaven Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the loving husband of Victoria (Lavorgna) Lorusso.

Mark was born November 12, 1956, in Waterbury, the son of the late Nicholas and Solange (Perrault) Lorusso. A graduate of Holy Cross High School, Class of 1974, he was the owner/operator of Arnold Wholesale/Distributor in Waterbury for many years until his retirement in 2003. Most recently he was employed at Quality Data Services in Waterbury.

Mark enjoyed the outdoors, having been a member of the Bantam Lake Yacht Club and Nava Ski Club for many years. He was an avid golfer and a member of Watertown Golf Club for the past 25 years.

Mark also enjoyed watching the Patriots play football and playing bass guitar. He often could be found organizing musical performances with his grandchildren.

Mark had an infectious laugh and smile that will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Besides his wife, Victoria, of 43 years, he leaves his daughters, Laura Boyne and her husband, Daniel, of Watertown and Angela Borrelli and her husband, Michael, of Cheshire; his loving grandchildren, Kaylee, Joseph, Nicholas, Thomas and Samantha; a sister, Nicole Lorusso-Dumas of Midland, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Maryanne Lorusso of Thomaston; and several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and friends whom he adored.

He was predeceased by his brother, William N. Lorusso, and his brother-in-law, Robert Dumas.

A Mass of Christian Burial with cremains present will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 23, at St. Anthony’s Church, 4 Union City Rd., Prospect. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. There are no calling hours. Burial will follow at New St. Joseph’s Cemetery, at the corner of Hamilton Avenue and Pearl Lake Road, Waterbury. Arrangements are by Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury.
