MORRIS — The Morris Public Library has announced the availability of a new service, Mobile Hotspots, available for checkout.

Wi-Fi Hotspots offer wireless internet at home, will accompany travelers on a vacation or help a friend or a loved one who does not have internet access.

The hotspots allow Morris residents to connect to the internet anywhere there is a cell phone signal on the Sprint network.

There is no limit on data, and residents may connect up to 10 devices to the Hotspot.

Each hotspot checks out for 2 weeks to Morris residents only.

Those seeking a hotspot or more information may stop at the checkout desk at the library or call 860-567-7440.

The Morris Public Library will offer “Tails and Tales” Summer Reading for all ages, from Tuesday, June 22 through Thursday, August 19.

The kickoff of the Children’s Summer Reading Kickoff and Ice Cream Favors takes place at 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 22.

Those attending will receive a Summer Reading incentive and a tastefully “taled” ice cream favor.

Each reading level will have their own Summer Reading activity card to participate in the program. Students from grades PreK through five will count the number of tales read.

Teens in grades six through 12 and adults may enjoy reading as many interesting tales as they can find.

The participants will be able to enter to win one a Finale prize upon submitting their completed card.

No registration is required. Those interested from all levels may obtain a card at the kickoff, at the library or download it from the website at beginning June 22.

Those seeking more information may call 860-567-7440, or visit
