WATERTOWN — The Watertown Police Department advises possible congestion on Routes 6 and 63 from Monday, July 15 to Monday, September 9.

The state Department of Transportation has announced that there will be a scheduled road closure and detour in Morris to facilitate ongoing construction activities related to the replacement of Bridge Number 01309, which carries Route 109 over the Wigwam Reservoir.

Construction begins on Monday, July 15. 

The roadway will reopen on Monday, September 9. Route 109 and the bridge in Morris will be closed during this time.

Trucks are instructed to use detour routes on Routes 254, 118, 202 and 63. Passenger vehicles will use detour routes along Routes 6 and 63.
