WATERTOWN — Two Watertown Boy Scouts were awarded Joseph and Yvonne LeClair Scholarships. 

The award is available to any scout who is a resident of Watertown or a member of a Watertown troop, and is named for a husband and wife who devoted their lives to scouting.

Jacob Grendzinski 

Jacob Grendzinski is a senior at Sacred Heart High School where he has excelled in academics. 

As a member of Troop 140 at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Jacob served as Senior Patrol Leader. 

He hopes to become a game warden after college.

Two Scouts Receive LeClair Scholarships

Jesse Kaye

Jesse Kaye is a senior at Watertown High School. 

Most recently, he served as Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 52 at Union Congregational Church. 

He is very involved in the music program there and aspires to be an acoustical engineer.

The LeClair Scholarship has helped 42 scouts in advanced education since 2009.
