WATERTOWN — In an effort to keep the public aware of announcements and happenings, the Town of Watertown would like to make the public aware that there are four methods that are utilized to disseminate information.
Residents may choose the best way for you to receive information:
1. Sign up for the Town E-Notify System. By simply subscribing through the website at www.watertownct.org, under the tab “E-Notify Sign Up” and enter the preference for notifications for emails or texts.
Residents will be able to choose topics of interest, including town announcements for emergency notifications, public advisories, meetings, events, public surveys, press releases and much more.
2. Town Infoline. To sign up for the Infoline, dial 860-945-5272 and choose option three, Parks and Recreation Announcements.
The town will make every effort to provide updates the day of events including changes and cancellation of programs and activities.
3. Visit the town website at www.watertownct.org for information and announcements including a special banner at the top of the page as well as pop-up announcements.
4. Official social media sites under Facebook and Instagram will also be updated periodically however will not be the primary source of information.
