Seniors Seek Yarn Donations

OAKVILLE — The Falls Avenue Community Center and Senior Services’ Knitting and Crocheting group is asking for donated yarn to continue their community service projects. Using the yarn that many residents donated last year, the Knitting and Crocheting group made many handcrafted items for the children and teens in the community, veterans at the VA Hospital, premature babies at area hospitals, patients at the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center and deployed military personnel.

Limited pickup is available.

Those seeking additional information may call the center at 860-945-5250.
