SCOUTING FOR FOOD

Boy Scout Packs and Troops 52 at Union Congregational Church and Troop 140 at St. Mary Magdalen Church had a successful Scouting for Food drive last week. Donations were almost double that of previous years. Most vehicles that went out to retrieve the Scouting for Food bags returned with 80 to 100 bags each and had to go back to finish their routes.

The Boy Scouts and Watertown Food Bank thank everyone for coming through in tough times. A great need has been met with kindness and generosity. Among those doing the scouting were Pete Pellegrini with his sons, Cub Scouts Vinny and John, seen here unloading their vehicle with food to be boxed and delivered to the Watertown Food Bank.
