WATERTOWN — The Council of Catholic Women of St. John the Evangelist Church will host a Christmas Drive just before the 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday, December 5, and before all Masses on Sunday, December 6.

There will be an easy drive-through drop off from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, at the Faith Formation garage in the parking lot of the church.

All Covid precautions will be taken. All donations benefit the Brian O’Connell Homeless Project, Carolyn’s Place and Watertown Social Services.

The council will be collecting men’s underwear, all kinds and sizes, and $5 gift cards from Dunkin’ Donuts or Subway for the homeless.

Carolyn’s Place needs baby and toddler toys, diapers and new warm baby clothes and blankets. Watertown Social Services, which is not accepting donations of toys this year, instead is in need of gift cards for children. The council suggests gift cards from Marshall’s, Target, Walmart, Old Navy, Xbox or Roblox.
